Habitat Year in Review

We’ve had another busy year with UPPC providing outstanding support for Habitat for Humanity of Pierce County. Thank you to everyone in the congregation for your continued support of this great mission ministry.

In April

We had a combined Serve Day with 40 people working hard at two Habitat worksites. Over 30 volunteers from UPPC participated on April 23rd and another 12 volunteers from two neighboring churches, Christ Lutheran Lakewood and Olympic View Baptist participated. What a day we had. Great turn out and great serve day for the lord.

Jim and Bob join team raising the Wall of Hope

On June 25th

The Wall of Hope was framed into the Building on Faith home at the Woods Project. Bob Mohr and Jim Goertz were UPPC’s two representatives. It was a glorious day as we also witnessed the dedication of a home to a new member of the Woods Community that day.
